By using Privshot's web tool or API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Privshot detects and redacts personal data (PII) in images. Detection is best-effort and automated: it will not catch 100% of PII 100% of the time, and the API has no human-review step. You are responsible for verifying every redaction before relying on or sharing an output. A missed region is an un-redacted leak.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you have no right to process.
• Do not use the service to build a competing dataset by scraping, or to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the API.
• Respect the published rate limits and do not attempt to circumvent metering, tiers or billing.

Accounts & API keys

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Billing & credits

Paid features are billed through credits or subscriptions via Stripe. Credits are consumed per request as described in the API docs. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that detection is complete or error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privshot is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from PII that was not detected or from your use of an output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
